CCIM Louisiana Scholarships
Scholarships
The Louisiana CCIM Chapter awards five (5) endowed scholarships each year in the amount of $1,000 to assist and encourage CCIM Candidates in pursuing the #pathtothepin. Scholarships were created by the Chapter with matching funds provided by the CCIM Foundation. The CCIM Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to advance and foster real estate education. Named endowed scholarships honor those who have shown a great dedication, commitment, outstanding achievement, and service to the commercial real estate industry.

Stewart Estopinal, CCIM ScholarshipList Item 1
Established in November 2006.
Stewart Estopinal, CCIM of New Orleans, LA was a CCIM instructor for 10 years and active throughout the Institute governance and leadership. He worked for several large companies in New Orleans before owning his own company - The New Orleans Land Company.
In addition to brokerage he was often called upon for appraisal and valuation work. He passed away in 2001 at 43 years old and this scholarship was created to honor his contributions.

Barry Spizer, CCIM ScholarshipList Item 2
Established in November 2006
Barry Spizer of Metairie, LA is the founder and managing partner of SRSA Commercial Real Estate. He has received numerous awards and honored by the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS with the award for highest volume of commercial sales and leases in the city.
Barry was President of Louisiana CCIM in 1989 and President of the CCIM Institute in 2003.

Richard Juge, CCIM ScholarshipList Item 3
Established in December 2015.
Richard Juge, Re/Max Commercial in Metairie, LA has been in commercial and investment real estate since 1988 and specializes in handling the needs of corporate clients for many national companies.
He is a charter member of the CCIM Partners Advisory Board and has served on numerous committees and is a Senior Instructor. Richard was also the founding board member on Louisiana's statewide commercial database LACDB.com. Richard served as President of the CCIM Institute in 2010.

Edwin "Ed" White, CCIM ScholarshipList Item 4
This endowment scholarship honors Charles McClure, CCIM who has served on various CCIM committees both locally and nationally. In 2007, Mr. McClure was elected Vice President of the CCIM Institute. In 2008, he served as President-Elect, and in 2009, he served as CCIM Institute President. Mr. McClure is a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute and continues to help foster and further education throughout the CCIM organization.
